Ryan Moran
My interest in real estate started a bit unexpectedly—thanks to late-night infomercials and Carleton Sheets. While it sparked my curiosity, I didn’t dive in right away. Instead, I pursued a degree in Hospitality Management and spent several years honing my skills in that field.
In 2002, I took the plunge into real estate and shortly began with fix-and-flip properties, starting small and gradually taking on bigger challenges with each project. Over the years, I’ve partnered with investors and lenders to complete over 100 rehabs throughout the Chicagoland area, always on the lookout for the next opportunity.
Though I’ve owned traditional rental properties in the past, I quickly realized that being a landlord wasn’t for me. That’s when I shifted focus to short-term rentals, like Airbnbs, which has allowed me to leverage my hospitality experience and achieve higher returns than standard rental properties.
I’m passionate about rehabbing properties and discovering new opportunities to blend hospitality with real estate for maximum returns. Each project presents unique potential, and I’m always eager to take on the next one—whether that means expanding my portfolio or partnering with like-minded investors who want to grow alongside me.
